Event - Last call for Aneirin

Last call

In honor of the retirement of Captain Aneirin Grace of the United Pirates, we will be throwing one last bash for the scoundrel.

The party will be in the form of a story night, where the theme of the story is the man himself, Aneirin. The stories must cover a trait or encounter with Captain Grace.

(OOC note, I don't care if they're true or not... and stories that make me laugh will be most welcome!)

The time of the party will be Thursday, July 28. The time is 8:00PM by the eastern stars.

And the location, of course, is the Jolly Roger inn of Red Skull Bay.

(OOC note 2: There is no contest or reward involved. While I don't have any trouble planned, Aneirin will be in character and act accordingly... So for those highlighted with UP, dress appropriately!)

We will close the Brew for this evening and the vamps will come and be as "eccentric" as we can be... but you must promise to call me a "pale wench" at least 1x.

Aedon will be there to send Aneirin off.

My wife and children are still in the hospital, and if she is just home, there may be a delay or cancellation of this event. If she's still there or comes home tomorrow, my plan remains unchanged.

I am bummed out. I have a meeting that was called for this night with my Toastmasters group. I am slated to speak, and may not be home in time. I will keep watch to see if the day is changed.

I pick my wife and babies up from the hospital on Friday, so I need my rest on Thursday. Hopefully I can make it on Saturday (though my time will be split between babies and UO most likely)

The Rest and pretty much any tavern or regularly scheduled event night has always been flexible to meet the demands/needs of the community. We are just an option not a requirement. I am very happy to be able to share the night with anyone wishing to host a gathering for the community.
