* a letter delivered to Aedon, sealed with a waxen, ebony waning crescent, and rolled into a silver scroll case. Delivered by a blue-eyed crow named Lucif *
Lord Durreah,
We spoke recently of your plans for the construction and re-opening of a Trade Embassy in your domain, as well as your desire to further ties between Istas and the Aegis with economic trade. Lady Zendra and I have discussed this proposal, and see a great deal of value in pursuing the furthered economic development of our region and your own.
You also expressed a desire to consider Rizzen Vorn, of Istas, as a proposed trade emissary to your developing center. Lady Zendra and I also discussed this proposal and believe your choice is appropriate. I spoke to Rizzen recently, offered the position, and he accepted. He will be meeting with merchants and craftsman that live in or work for Istas to discuss what our region may offer soon. He will then be discussing various proposals from these meetings with Zendra and I, and of course with you in an official capacity now.
I look forward to the continued relations between our regions, and to our newly appointed Minister of Trade’s ideas.
My thanks for the hospitality you have always extended to Zendra and I, as well as to all of the citizens of Istas, over the many years we have known one another.
May this letter, and the night, find you well.
~A

(A Letter returned sealed with the emblem of a Yew Tree.)
Lord Azreal,
I am deeply pleased to hear of the decision reached by Yourself and Lady Zendra. Like you, I see many advantages to Istas and Aegis coming from this agreement.
The news of Rizsen Vorn being appointed to the position of Minister of Trade is welcome as well. I am sure that soon we shall see trade flourishing not only between our cities, but with many other towns and villages.
With Restpect,
Aedon Durreah Magistrate of Aegis
