Name: Aaron Jacob Deckard
Race: Human
Born: Minocian Highlands
Age: Appears to be in his late 30's
Occupation: Hunter/Aegis Militia/Tavernkeeper - The Knights Rest
Height: 6 feet 4 inches
Weight: 14.40 Imperial Stone
Build: Muscular
Hair: Black with the beginnings of grey at the temples
Complexion: Tanned/Weathered
Eyes: Steel Grey
Marks: Burn scars on his left hand; scar across his left eye and lips; bowman calluses on his fingers. On the rare occasion he is not wearing armor a braid of fiery red hair can be seen worn around his neck.
Background:
Born in the Minocian Highlands to a father who worked metal and a mother who worked cloth and skins; Deckard never became accustomed to any other name than that called of every male in his family. Nobility rarely took the time to learn a childs given name, if you were within range to hear your family name called you answered even if it wasn't you who was wanted.
Having no skill nor desire for crafting, Deckard took to the Northwoods to earn his keep in the family bringing home his first kill in his 12th winter. With a keen eye for tracking and aptitude for stealth along with the silence of a bow the young hunter kept his mother in skins and furs and meat on the family table.
The Beltain bonfires of his 26th spring found him drawn like never before to a youngest Caspian daughter, Sophia. The Caspian's were gypsy traders that visited the Highlands twice a year. Never before had the idea of keeping a woman for his own been so powerful. Deckard kept young Sophia and loved her beyond reason for ten months until she died giving birth to Ayesleigh Ashlynne Deckard.
Deckard left Ayesleigh to be raised by his parents seeking a life out of the highlands and time to heal from his loss. Over the years taking any job that came along from longshoreman to lumberjack, the one thing Deckard could be counted on for was coming to the aid of those in need till eventually petitioning to be a squire in the Kingdom of Everthorne. Illness in his family forced him to rescind his petition and return to the Highlands to care for his ailing parents and his daughter.
Upon the deaths of his parents Deckard sold everything his family owned; left his daughter with an aunt and returned to make a home for them in Yew.
