Amazing Race Ter Mur
A land of mystery and intrigue, Ter Mur is a deadly place where even the most experienced of adventurers can find a challenge. Yet many travel the place in their prized gear, so what would happen if they were deprived of such gear and told to go from place to place?
On Friday, January 29th at 7:00 PM Est , House of Redemption ( |R| ) will be hosting, Amazing Race Ter Mur. Participants will be asked to come with a partner (teams of 2) to the lands of Solace, directly south of the Ter Mur moongate. There, they will be given a bag containing the following:
Clothing
A GM crafted weapon of their choice
30 of each reagent
An instrument
30 Bandages
A book for stage 1 (see below)
30 Arrows and 30 Bolts
Participants are asked to come only in a robe. With nothing at all in their backpacks except spell books. No runebooks, potions, bandaids, etc. Mounts are not allowed, nor are pets.
Each team will be asked to go from point A to point B, with as few deaths as possible. They will be asked to keep track of their death robes for point calculation. Bonuses will be awarded for fewer death robes, while a special prize will be awarded to the team with the most deaths.
The trip will consist of 5 steps, and if a team does not pass through a checkpoint, they will not be awarded points for it.
While players run across Ter Mur, they will surely find dangerous beasts ready to claim their lives. At the beginning of each stage, teams will be awarded a book. The book will describe what each team must bring to the following stage. (ex, stage A - B: 10 Boura Pelts)
While collecting the items on the list, players may equip themselves from loot obtained from fallen beasts.
Awards will be given for places 1 - 3 and most Death Robes.
Once again, here are the rules that describe things NOT ALLOWED:
No Mounts
No Tameables
No gear brought to the start other than spell books.
However, tamers are free to tame pets they find along the way. Except those that can be mounted.
We hope to see many in attendance for what is surely to be a fun filled night!
