So, my lovely wife, was making a yummy pasta sauce for our dinner this evening, and left it on the stove on med heat to cook for a while. And then, she heard noise telling me it was the water boiling for the noodles to go in, so I walk out to the kitchen, and to my surprise I see, she decided to share the sauce with the floor, and the cupboards, and the stove and the ceiling. Yes, that's right folks, she left it on too long and forgot. Aly's senility strikes again!
Oh, and then she was like "with my luck, she will post it on the boards" and i said "great idea!" so guess what? here it is for your amusement!

I love my kitchen, all stainless steel, tile, and other non-porous surfaces you can just hose off. Even the floor is tile and has a very slight grade so you can use the hose in the center island to wash things down the drain in the floor. I did that because I married a lady who does things VERY SIMILAR to what Aly did? Except more frequently.
Now if only i could smoke-proof it...

I won't even try to explain the time I set my parents kitchen on fire as a teen. Nor have I any idea how it got so hard to shatter pyrite glass. Nor why the entire kitchen had to be repainted and recabineted.

Five or so years ago I relearned a very valuable lesson.
Do NOT put the tinfoil wrapped food into the microwave.

Wow, are folks really that clumisy in their kitchens? I can say with all honesty, I have NEVER had any mishap in the kitchen. (shifts eyes)

Only mishap I have had is, putting too much dish soap in the dish washer. Now we are talking Dawn dish soap here. Water slides anyone?

Y'all are a little embarassing to know. This culinary goddess would never do anything wrong in the kitchen. That's the room with the shoe warmer and the cold closet, right?
