So I've found an active RP community on Atlantic and I think I'm going to make the move permanent. I have a handful of houses and items that I'll be giving up if anyone is interested. Though honestly the last ten topics (not just posts) have not even been UO related so I don't even know if you guys even care. But let me know if you want to take a house of mine off my hands.
Probably the first to go will be evil Dante's liar in the center of the Yew Crypts. I'm going to take all the things I need from it and shard transfer but I wont have any room for the cratesfull of useless runic armor and just junk.
On a side note you should all come check Atlantic out its pretty decent.

Good luck to you Dante. I know several others who have made the more to Atlantic. I think though that I am a creature of Catskills, and if I do not play there, I will not play at all.
Let me know where you set up there though.

Hope things turn out well for you there. I've looked into Baja myself and found a few people there who rp. Someone once told me if you aren't having fun you aren't doing it right, we all need to go where we are going to enjoy our playtime.

*sighs* I miss everyone too. It just feels like it's all slipping away, isn't it?

*sighs* I miss everyone too. It just feels like it's all slipping away, isn't it? It is Aly, but I like to look back on what we had for so long. Those times are etched in my mind and on my heart, and wherever I land I share stories of what I still see as one of the greatest RPing communities ever.

*nods* I have memories that I will never forget. People who I have come to love as friends and family. Laugh when I think back on all the silliness and get misty eyed when I think back on all the IC heartbreak and tragedy. Even the OOC drama....I kinda miss at times in a weird way. *grins a bit*
Playing Aly was a great joy in my life to be honest....
Dante! I hope you find that joy in RP again over there! I wish you great luck hon. I wish I could find the ambition to just start over again from scratch... But Aly and a couple other characters of mine are too embedded in Catskills. I have no care to create new ones and in a lot of the strict RP rules on other servers I could never play Aly. And she's the only one I really ever care to play.
Good luck. And don't be a stranger here. Just because many are not playing doesn't mean we're not still community.

It is sad to see the end of an era which ment so much to me. I grew up with UO, it has been a part of my life from the begging of High School throughout College till now.
But as Aly has already said above; I have met many friends here whom I will stay in contact with and will cherish for the rest of my days.
And I (once again repeating Aly) am not sure I could do another Shard; the free-rang style of Catskills is the ideal situation to RP in, where I could make my own races and powers and interact w/everyone's similar creations; it's that which made me fall in luv and stay with Catskills so long.
Clive Dauthi I consider after so many years of mapping out his life and characteristics as an alter-ego of mine (My handles for alot of websites and other games) Sadly I just don't think he would fit in elsewhere UO wise.
BUT HEY We will always have these forums to stay in touch and let us know how one another is doing.
And there will be OTHER games out there, I could see us all (or a good part) starting up another lil-rp-community on another Game someday ((I think the elder-scrolls online game will be ideal for RP)) Or HELL Uo could take a hint and make it free-2-play someday.
Wish I had better more up-lifting speech to deliver but the Truth usually serves best.

Clean breaks from a game are always best. My best memories are from Baja I only had a few periods on Catskills where I was having as much fun as I did in the old days with my brother. Then I switched to Europa to late and missed some nice fun but still had some nice times. The game kinda loses the fun and just eats at you with nostalgia after all the people that you hung around from the beginning with are gone. I honestly wouldn't recommend the official game to anyone anymore, and that kind of makes me sad.
